Ingredients (Serves 8–10)

  • ½ pound shrimp, cleaned
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp salt (optional)
  • 6 oz sour cream, at room temperature
  • 6 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 cups cheese (cheddar + mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 3 tbsp chopped chives or green onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a small cast iron skillet or ovenproof dish.
  2. Chop shrimp into 2–3 pieces each.
  3. Heat butter in skillet, add shrimp and Old Bay seasoning, cook 3–4 minutes until pink.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, smoked paprika, flour, pepper, and green onions. Fold in the cooked shrimp.
  5. Transfer mixture back to the skillet or a baking dish.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until bubbly around the edges.
  7. Garnish with chives/green onions and a sprinkle of Old Bay before serving.

Storage

Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days. Freezing is not recommended as it may curdle the cheese.
